10 of my strangest characteristics

  1. I suffer from terrible road rage… Which makes me curse… A lot… (I do not even want to thínk what my daughter’s first words are going to be!)
  2. I have rheumatoid arthritis (old, old woman).
  3. Like Mandy, I cry when I am angry and are therefore really bad at conflict. I try and avoid it as far as possible and can honestly say that I can’t even remember when was the last time I had a fight with DH.
  4. I am a pain-in-the-@rse-perfectionist when it comes to my job and studies, but my house permanently looks like the day before Creation. If you ever come and visit me and the house is tidy, do not, I repeat, DO NOT open any cupboards, you are bound to end up in a heap of whatever!
  5. I suffer from verbal diarrhoea…
  6. I can not function without music. The only time there’s no radio or CD or whatever playing, is when I’m asleep (but then I’m probably dreaming of music, so that doesn’t count).
  7. I am forever colour-coordinating EVERYTHING, be it my underwear, my child’s clothes or the pegs I’m using to hang the clothes on the washing line… I think it’s called obsessive compulsive.
  8. I hate exercise!! I am self-conscious whenever I do exercise, even if I am alone in my own house and no-one is around. I just hate it, I’m a real lazy-@ss (and I love chocolate, but I don’t think that counts as a strange characteristic…)!
  9. I am terrified of needles!! Even after 100’s of blood tests and shots for the ICSI, I still can’t stand them. I would’ve loved to donate blood, and even got as far as the door of the place they were holding a blood drive at once…but started hyperventilating and shaking so badly that I wanted to pass out, so I didn’t even bother going inside. Which brings me to my last one:
  10. I’m an organ donor. Seeing as I can’t help out while I’m alive, they can have whatever they can use once I kick the bucket.

(Wait, wait, I have a bonus one: I am a procrastinator of note! Right now, for instance, I am supposed to be typing my assignment... Shhht, don't tell anyone!)

  1. Hahahahahaha, I can so relate to colour co ordination and perfection... I shudder to think what's going to happen when our little ones are mobile.
